Marvelous Design was invited to collaborate with General Public to design and develop the website for Alentic Microscience. The purpose of the site is to showcase their innovative technology, the Prospector, a handheld blood scanner designed to make healthcare more accessible, convenient, and cheaper for patients and doctors alike.

The site was designed as a one-pager, which generally means that all of the content is located directly on the front page. This is a great approach for creating a streamlined user experience presented in a beautifully crafted layout. The navigation menu simply scrolls the page to the selected section, and links on the page direct users to branch pages for team member profiles and news articles.

Animated Scroller
For this site, we’ve implemented an animated scroll sequence, an innovative feature which enhances the site’s interactivity, guiding

users through the content in a visually appealing and intuitive way. The sequence shows a 3D model of the Prospector and demonstrates how the device looks in hand and how it functions. The animated 3D model was provided by our friends at Accomplice Content Supply Co based in Halifax, NS.
